On February 6, students from the UCAB School of Engineering, led by Dr. Ebert Brea, who is currently an Associate Researcher at the Center for Engineering Research and Development (CIDI) in said school and professor at the School of Industrial Engineering, constitute the Student Chapter of the "Industrial Engineering and Operations Management Society International", better known by its acronym "The IEOM Society International".
The directive of the IEOM-UCAB Student Chapter:

MISSION
The IEOM UCAB Student Chapter is determined to provide the UCAB with a student-led community that fosters involvement, curiosity, and active participation in the fields of Industrial Engineering (IE) and Operations Management (OM). This shall be accomplished through the relationship among UCAB students and their strong desire to plan, to participate in events and activities in the IEOM.
VISION
The IEOM UCAB Student Chapter expresses its commitment to conduct research, complement and spread knowledge on the IE and the OM to the community in the hopes of enriching and adding value to the professional development of the UCAB students.
VALUES
The values of the IEOM UCAB Student Chapter align with those of the IEOM Society International, which comprise but are not limited to the following:
